I wanted to write you and thank you for putting together an incredible trip to the Manu Biosphere and for coordinating our added itinerary in Lima and Machu Picchu. From the moment we arrived in Lima until we left, everything went as planned. I have taken many organized trips and I have to say that this was the most well-organized. This trip required an incredible amount of coordination. Manolo’s smiling face waiting for us at the Lima airport set the tone for the entire trip. All of your people were professional, prompt and accommodating. I have already sang your praises on social media but will also recommend you to anyone who asks. Thanks again,
Harry Mount
We had a wonderful time - Manu is a brilliant place! best wishes, and good luck with your company in the future

Dear Madam / Sir, All the group members enjoyed the tour leaded by Mr. Fuerte and learnt a lot about the rain forest, thank you for all your arrangements.

We just completed the four-day horseback tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the Inca Trail. It was a once-in-a-lifetime trip that exceeded our expectations. The ever-changing Andes landscape never failed to take our breath away. The Quechuan people are beautiful, humble, hardworking, welcoming and charming, the villages amazing and out of our own world, at least. The hotel was quaint and appropriately rustic with excellent traditional food. The homestay ... well, we fell in love with the family, charm, food, culture, place and vistas. Our guide, Odilon, wranglers, Maxi and Eduardo, and van driver, Walter, were top-notch, knowledgeable, careful and most of all likeable and kind! All was surreal and superb. Thanks for the memories!

Hi Barry, I just wanted to express our thanks for organizing a terrific holiday for us. In the airport just prior to our leaving, I spoke to several people who had done other tours and they were not happy with the organization or the accommodation provided for them. We, on the other hand, had a great trip and everything went so smoothly. You have excellent staff who really seem to enjoy their work and did a super job to ensure we saw and did some wonderful things. They were all upbeat, happy, caring individuals who worked well as a team. Danny was amazing. He is a real gem and extremely knowledgeable. Dan, my husband, added many many new birds to his life list and seeing the monkeys, jaguar, sloth, giant otters and tapir were all added bonuses.
I feel privileged to have been able to spend time in Manu and hope the powers that be realize how important it is to protect.
Thanks again

As you may recall, my husband Himanshu Jani and I went on a birding cum historical trip to Machu Pichu, Cusco and the Sacred Valley, organised by Manu Expeditions, and led by Danny Vargas. We wanted to place on record, our sincere appreciation for the very professional and exceptional way the whole trip was organised the vehicle, pick ups, the hotels identified, the pace, the wonderful experiencing of Peru, culturally, geographically, historically, and as a gorgeous birding destination. We were blown away!
We especially want to express our thanks to Danny....he was exceptional in every way! Very knowledgeable about the culture, history, and birding! He patiently answered the many and varied questions we asked him, added more detail and color, and truly helped us to 'feel' the country. I think we also connected with him as a person, and felt very comfortable exploring different perspectives of the ways of living, that we could not otherwise have done. We could not have hoped for a better guide and coach. We will be doing a recommendation on Facebook too. Thank you again!

Bambi Moises

Just wanted to touch base with you about our trip. First of all, you couldn’t have provided us with a better guide than Dougie. His passion for and knowledge about all we saw and did was outstanding. His care of us couldn’t have been better. Theo’s soups were the best food on the trip. I could have lived on just the soups. And the entire team was just wonderful. If you could ask Dougie for the name of the first horse handler who we both really liked, I would appreciate your sending that to me since for the life of me I can’t remember it.

Also, for whatever my humble opinion is worth, I doubt that Choquequirao will ever get the money or attention it deserves. Too much money is wrapped up in Machu Picchu and my guess is that that means too much politics to keep it the center of attention. But my guess is that Choquequirao is 10 times the size of Machu Picchu and though I would love to see what is under all that jungle, I would never trade that for the experience of Rob, Dougie and I being up there alone running into only 1 other traveller.

Also, thank you so much for discovering Pinchu Unuyoc. I doubt I have ever had lunch in such a sight — and again, only us. I just couldn’t believe it when we came upon our table and chairs so elegantly set up join the terraces. It felt like we were personal guests of the Inca gods themselves. How few people ever experience anything like that. All in all, I would say that this trip was one of the highlights in my life of traveling around the world. And may you continue to provide this experience to more people. So thank you so much for this amazing trip.

Dear Barry, We had a wonderful time in Peru; Danny was the perfect guide for our group and the Manu Expeditions office came through at every bump in the road. I was so pleased we were able to get together with you at our farewell dinner on our last night in Cusco.

Thank you for making our trip to Peru so memorable.

The 4 of us dis the Inca Trail Ride last month and we just wanted to say what a splendid experience it was - from initial contact to saying goodbye to our horses was a real Andean experience on little travelled trail amidst majestic scenery not least the little visited ruins of Huchuy Quosqo. I would recommend this ride to anyone.

My husband and I (and cousins) were on the trip - Complete Manu Biosphere Reserve Experience July 11th 2016 - and thought we should take a moment to say a big thanks for such a great trip! We learned a lot; thrilled to see so many birds and animals, too; and enjoyed the food and accommodations. The whole crew was great and we felt well taken care of.

We write a blog,, and will be doing six posts about our trip to Manu. The first will post Aug 10 and the last Aug 20. I’ll do some links to your company.

Thanks again, Barry, to you and all the members of your team who did such a great job to make it a memorable trip.

Having completed the 9-day Manu Tour with you we would like to say what an amazing experience we had. Exceeded expectations!! Everyone involved in our tour, driver, boatmen and chef were very professional and helpful. Special mention must go to Danny Vargas, our guide, whose knowledge, energy and expertise made the trip such an amazing experience and so memorable. We have travelled extensively with many excellent guides but have to say that this young man was the best. Please send him our warmest thanks.

COCK OF THE ROCK LODGE – Good Good first night in the jungle. PANTIACOLLA LODGE – Good Basic but nice. AGUAJE TENTED CAMP – Excellent Loved its remoteness and the wildlife. Great about the addition of the new bathroom. MANU WILDLIFE CENTRE – Excellent Lovely. Guides – Excellent Danny Vargas – Truly outstanding for such a young man. Best wildlife guide we have ever had. Also chef, driver and boatmen were excellent. Quality of wildlife seen – Excellent Danny’s knowledge and expertise were exceptional and his patience with us when we had trouble spotting birds high in the canopy. Also enjoyed his company and sense of humour. Please pass on my thanks to everyone for ensuring they had a wonderful time in the forest!

We thank you for every minute. David was wonderful, as was everyone else who you employed to help us. Everything went without a hitch. We weren't prepared for the beauty of the Manu Wildlife Centre lodge, nor for the wonderful food. Thanks again,

The UNCG-JBQ group is back and has literally just graduated, after an absolutely amazing trip inside the Rainforest. By all accounts your team of guides were wonderful and the experiences they had there proved to be both educational AND fun! I understand our herpetologists may even have converted one of your ardent ornithologists and he now sees the charm of frogs!! From an organizational perspective, you and your colleagues were fantastic and it was a real pleasure to work with you all to make this tour happen, so I sincerely hope we will have an opportunity to send students to you again in the not too distant future.

Just a quick note to let you know that we are home safe. We had the most wonderful experience and wanted to congratulate you on the way you operated our program. Panchito and Santos were superb and kept us safe. Aurelio did an impeccable job with the food and the guide was fantastic. We achieved our goal of getting a general education about the rainforest of Manu Thanks a million for putting together such a memorable trip, which I will now offer to our clients. The only property I will NOT recommend or include in any of our programs would be the Machiguenga Lodge. Abandoned and depressing. Not sure how is running this project but they should be fired from their jobs. During the land portion of the trip Alejandro was fantastic. Long days for him but he never once changed his driving speed or took risks.

The Classic Inca trail ride was a wonderful way to see the Inca Heartland and a little known archaeological site – a top-notch ride.

Manu Expeditions excelled in getting us “out there” to maximize wildlife and in providing an outstanding guide, David. They take the “expedition” part in Manu Expeditions seriously and gave us every opportunity to enjoy and appreciate what Manu had to offer. No napping at the jungle lodge! A few little things that added to the trip: Our first meeting together at Cock of the Rock lodge we had mini Pisco Sours, a nice, authentic touch. Our chef prepared many delicious lunches on the boat where the captain just slowed down a little so we could eat, but we did not pull over or stop, so we could cover more ground and improve our timing. One day David forgot his water bottle, and we did not even know it until our morning outing had ended at almost noon. The final day when we had an early afternoon plane to catch, the importance of ME’s outstanding coordination was evident as we made many flawless connections of various modes of transport with drivers/boat captains waiting for every leg of the journey over the course of about 6 hours. Bing, bing, bing and we arrived at the airport about an hour earlier than planned. ME's drivers were also excellent, whether it was the van driver or boat captain. That second motor provided confidence too, should anything go wrong with motor #1. Nothing did. I think Manu Expeditions attracts fun and interesting people who like the outdoors, just by the type of trips the company offers. It was an outstanding trip. Hi again to David! Muchas Gracias,

Chris Goodie
THANK-YOU to you and your team for organizing our recent 'Gooddie and friends' Rosenberg extravaganza trip so flawlessly. The logistics are pretty complicated relative to other trips I've done, and everything was done with a seamless attention to detail...
Dr Stephen Washington - South Manchester
Just a final note to thank you again for our help and advice . The Manu trip was superb. Your guide is a credit to your company. An exemplary man. He was universally highly regarded by our group.
John Bowman
I wanted you to know what a wonderful experience we had doing the Complete Biosphere Tour. We had excellent meals and accommodations throughout. But more importantly, the wildlife was spectacular. We never expected to see over 300 bird species and more than 20 species of mammals. As we are birders, the birds were the highlight, but seeing all the monkeys, tapir and giant otters were just as rewarding. Oh, and did I mention the jaguars. We were fortunate enough to have encountered 4 jaguars, including a youngster chasing after butterflies. Let me also mention how much we appreciated having Klaus as a guide. We would never have seen the wildlife without his excellent ability in hearing and spotting the animals. Not only that, but he was courteous and helpful in every respect. He even helped my daughter in speaking Spanish, as she is learning the language. We would recommend to anyone wishing for the best nature experience in South America to contact Manu Expeditions. We have worked with many birding and nature tours throughout Central and South America and have enjoyed most. We think Manu Expeditions offers the most enjoyable way to see the most wildlife. We cannot recommend it highly enough.

Hi Barry, Sorry we missed you, but thanks for the wine. David was absolutely fantastic in all ways, and this has been a trip of a lifetime for my family and me... never thought we would see two jaguars in the wild. Think we may have a taste for it and will be furthering our horizons.
Wendy Menefee
I wanted you to know our trip was fantastic. The lodge at the wildlife center was superb- so comfortable and staff was excellent. The jungle plants, animals and birds were great, we saw so much we were all thrilled. But David made the trip a trip of a lifetime. He shares his abundant knowledge with real enthusiasm and passion. He makes sure his visitors see as much as possible and it is obvious he really cares about your experience. David is a gem! Thanks to you as well for your help in making this trip happen for us. I will recommend Manu Expeditions to all my friends.
Donna M. Salvatore – USA
Barry, I was on your trip in 1987 and we saw the Yawanawa tribe. I am still talking about you and this trip to so many people 25 years later! We just read a novel about the Amazon for our book club and I started talking about the birds and you and the whole trip. I was down there for a month and still one of the most memorable experiences.
Eric Haas-Stapleton and Kris Knopp - USA
We just finished an 11 day tour with David Fuerte) and would like to thank you for the outstanding experience. The itinerary was well designed, the excursions thoroughly enjoyable and the facilities top-notch. The food was exceptional and Egidio (the cook) made magic with the supplies. Each night’s supper was shockingly delicious and produced high praise from everyone at the table! David is an exceptionally knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. His skill in pointing out the birds and animals of Manu was outstanding and he took the extra step of teaching us the spotting clues he uses. This made the experience all the more exciting because over the 11 days, we became able to see animals in the forest that at the beginning of the expedition appeared only as bouncing branches or rattling leaves. This was genuine thrill for a group of people that love discovering (most of us are research scientists). David clearly enjoys his work; his thrill with spotting a Horned Screamer or Rufous-sided Crake produced an excitement among the group that was infectious. We truly appreciated the kindness and clear guidance that David provided during the trip-- he was the star of the adventure. Having traveled in many regions of the world in small tour groups (2-6 people) or alone with a guide, we think the adventure in Manu ranks #1 and will recommend it without reservation to friends and colleagues.

My husband and I were on a Manu Biosphere tour with Waldo this past August. Trip of a lifetime we'll never forget. So, first, thanks for providing for a fantastic journey. Thanks again for a wonderful trip.
Andy and Alison Rhodes
Hello to Barry and Ross; we would like to thank you both for our recent trip with Manu. It was well planned and well organized and one of the most enjoyable trips we have done. We loved the lodges; the itinerary with boats, canopy towers and selection of habitats was always fascinating. The guides, boatmen and driver were good at their job and good company, the food was really good at all the stops and the Hotel\Airport taxi links were spot on. Thank you very much indeed.

We are just home after our trip to Peru, booked through Select Latin America but with much of it organised by Manu Expeditions. We’d like to thank you for all the organisation and for providing us with such a fantastic holiday. The guides you provided us with were excellent. We should also mention Rene, our driver from Cusco to Amazonia Lodge. He was extremely expert and negotiated a couple of landslides with ease – we felt very safe in his hands. We were also really impressed with the level of service, how we were met at airports / stations / hotels and generally looked after all the way. Thank you so much for helping us to have a wonderful time in Peru. If we ever have the chance for another visit we will certainly contact you again.
Chris Hall – United Kingdom
We are very pleased with the service received from Manu Expeditions as the whole trip was very well organized and Silverio was also an excellent guide. Many thanks.
Kim Brett - South Africa
The Wildlife Tented Camp is charming. We absolutely loved the place and were sorry to spend only one night there. The little private bedrooms are spacious and well designed to let in any breezes. The bathroom facilities are very adequate, and the central dining area is lovely, especially because it’s candle-lit. In the morning, we were treated to a dawn chorus second to none, complete with a howler-monkeys. The Manu Wildlife Centre is an amazing place. The central community area is fabulous and we loved seeing the humming birds at the feeders. The bedrooms were well appointed and comfortable. The whole team made sure we were well looked after and safe. The guide was organised, prompt and efficient, and very interesting company too. His knowledge of the forest, with its trees, insects, frogs and other creatures, brought the place alive. We were delighted with the trip. Our thanks to everyone behind the scenes who made it all run so smoothly.
Frank Thierfelder - Germany
It is very important to me that you know how pleased and happy we were with everything, but especially with our excellent guide José Antonio Padilla. He was a very competent, likeable and flexible leader for the whole group (with us there were four South African Ladies). On the whole tour, there was always some extra time to spend at a place when we requested it, there were always detailed and interesting explanations and descriptions, and for me as someone especially interested in birds I consider myself very lucky to have gotten José Antonio as our guide, with his incredible knowledge in birds (and patience when pointing them out to me...). The logistics of the trip were very good, starting with the briefing in Cusco and pickup at the hotel. Everything else from there on was even better, we really enjoyed the rides down Manu Road and on the rivers (very competent and nice drivers and navigators by the way), very much liked Romero Lodge and the Tented Camp Site with access to the two beautiful Oxbow Lakes, and Manu Wildlife Center is just incredible! Congratulations on that! To sum it up, a great trip with a great guide! I have since heavily recommended Manu Expeditions to several friends who are planning a Manu trip next year.

We wanted to thank you and your staff for what I can only describe as an absolutely wonderful trip with Manu Expeditions. We had an totally fantastic time - and enjoyed every minute of our 11 days. We found every aspect of the whole trip to be outstanding - we really cannot fault any aspect whatsoever. Particularly, I would like to draw your attention to our guide, Jessica, for special praise. We found her to be outstanding in every regard. We have made many trips in different places, but have never previously found a guide with so much knowledge and experience founded on such infectious enthusiasm and love for the rainforest, its peoples and its wildlife. We were impressed indeed by her knowledge of the birds and their calls - well beyond our wildest expectations. It is fair to say that Jessica made this trip an unforgettable experience for us. Please thank her again for us.
Richard and Michal Passarelli - USA
We would like to thank you for the really exceptional time that we had on our recent trip (private tour 4/3horse trek then 7/6 Manu). The logistics were extremely well organized. Our guide, Tino, was helpful in every way and very attentive to our interests. More so, he was very knowledgeable about the natural and cultural aspects of Peru. Tino was truly great. The food was great too. Thank you Barry for matching us a guide based on our interests - it meant a great deal and made all the difference. We would certainly recommend Manu Expeditions to anyone planning to visit this part of the world. Very professional!
Alison Cox – United Kingdom
The whole trip went extremely smoothly and was exceptionally well organized which made it very enjoyable. I was very impressed by all the staff working for Manu Expeditions, ranging from the many people who assisted us on our horse trek and whilst down in the rainforest and cooked such excellent meals for us (and in particular catered for a fussy vegetarian!). In particular, I was most impressed by our guides, Tino, who accompanied us for the whole trip and Arturo who joined us in the rainforest. Their level of knowledge was brilliant, both in terms of wildlife but also their wider knowledge of Peru and also their first aid skills! We felt exceptionally well looked after and the wildlife and scenery made the holiday a truly memorable one!
Alan Sinfield – United Kingdom
I wanted to drop you a line and let you know that my son and I had a truly great trip with your organization. Your employees (office staff) did a wonderful job, I found them to be very knowledgeable and helpful, above and beyond the call of duty in some cases. Our guide was very knowledgeable and passionate about the Jungle wildlife, plant life and inhabitants, she worked very hard and had a busy schedule planned for our group each day. The cooks boatmen, drivers etc. should all be commended. I would recommend your Tour group to all.

Just a line to thank you for the wonderful trip to Manu. It was the highlight of our 6 weeks in Ecuador and Peru. We did the Complete Manu Biosphere Reserve Experience in early August with our guide Jessica Bertram de Sasari. What a fantastic trip with an excellent guide who was able to show us so much wildlife. It was also really good to stay at Casa Machiguenga Lodge and interact with some of the local indian people. Thanks so much again.
Nick Blackwood – USA
What a wonderful three weeks - thank you. Exciting, exhausting, enthralling, overwhelming, hot, wet, bright, biting, glorious, inspiring, imposing .... You´ll have heard it all before

I have recently returned to the USA, after traveling with the St. Norbert's College trip, guided by Tino and Waldo. Wow!!!! This adventure, in and of itself, was great. But, Tino and Waldo made the trip phenomenal. It is difficult to explain to friends at home, just what an experience it was. The adventures, the hikes, the sightings, the lodgings, the smoothness of arrangements, the food, and the boat/bus/cook staff, were fabulous. But it was the incredible professionalism, personalities, and expertise of Tino and Waldo that made the trip a life changing experience.

We recently had the pleasure of spending 9 days in Manu with Expediciones Manu (through Chaska Tours). Our trip to Manu was absolutely perfect!! Our guide, Ricardo Sanchez-Tucto was phenomenal! We are seasoned travelers, having been to rainforests in Central America, Australia and Tanzania so we were hoping to learn more in-depth information about rainforest ecology than one might get on a first trip and Ricardo came though magnificently. Ricardo's commitment to both the environment and to the local indigenous groups closely parallels our own. We were excited to spend time with the Diamante and Matsiguenka people. Our stay at Casa Matsiguenka was a real highlight of the trip for us. Visiting the boat "factory" in Boca Manu and watching the people use driftwood to create a viable, environmentally-friendly industry was fascinating.
Erika Lind- USA
In addition to traveling with a very professional crew, I was amazed at just how 'hidden' the Hidden Trails horse trek was. For me, I have never been in such remote areas. No phones, no roads nothing but natural beauty. We had several opportunities to meet and engage with the local people and these were all special moments for all of us.
John Wheeler - United Kingdom
We cannot thank you and your team of Ramiro (Super Chef), Pancho (Master Boatman), and Jose/Nero (Rapid Rescuer and Wildlife Enthusiast) enough. This was a trip of a lifetime for us, not just because we came to Peru, a wonderful country, but because you enabled us to feel part of your lovely country and culture . We will always feel grateful and cannot forget our joint warwhoop as we spotted and got close to our sleepy and magnificent Jaguar. The Chilean wine was an nice touch.

I wanted to tell you that my wife, our 2 friends and I enjoyed very much the 9 day Manu trip we completed in July. Everything went smoothly and Ricardo was an excellent guide. Given our interests, I think it was an ideal trip. Many thanks.

Can I also take this opportunity to thank all at Manu Expeditions for making our holiday so enjoyable. The service we received from all staff we came into contact with was exceptional. We would like to thank 2 people in particular, Walter, our guide for Lake Titicaca and Edwin, our guide for the horse riding and Machu Picchu. Our whole experience of Peru was great and we would certainly use Manu Expeditions again; in fact, we intent to as we plan to come back with the children.

Miss Charlotte Manley OBE Private Secretary to The Duke Of York Dear Barry The Duke of York of has asked me to thank you in setting up his visit to Cusco and Machu Picchu. Your expert guidence and help during the visit was much appreciated by both His Royal Highness and all his team. Your knowledge and enthusiasm of the area is self-evident. His Royal Highness was deeply impressed by Machu Picchu and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of his tour; I know that so much of it would have not happened without your help.

From attention to detail, to the country, to the accommodations in Cusco, to the guide, to the horses, to the camp crew, to my fellow travelers, and to the weather - it was just great. Absolutely no complaints. The tour guide, Edwin Duenas, was probably the best guide a person could ask for. The whole operation was first class. I couldn't have been happier. I highly recommend such a trip for people interested in riding.
Tom Blackburn - United Kingdom
We want to thank you for a wonderful trip to Manu. Our nine day trip was wonderful. It far exceeded our expectations. Also, Arturo was an extremely good guide; I don't know how he could have done any better. We also enjoyed our horseback ride in Lamay

We are home safe and happy after a wonderful and diverse ten weeks in South America. One of the real highlights was our trip to Manu with the wonderful Waldo. We felt totally looked after in every way. The logistics all worked well and the crew were excellent. Waldo's knowledge and good nature meant we learned a lot about so many aspects of Manu, human and natural.

The view in the Andes, the horses, the guide, the camping, the food, everything was great. It was a trip of a life time, I would go back anytime. These horses are amazing they can climb anywhere! Then we had that typical peruvien meal, lamb cooked in very hot stone. It was one of the best thing I ever tasted.

My son and I just returned from Peru, and I want to tell you how much we enjoyed the trips we had booked with Manu Expeditions. Our guide on our horseback ride, Carlos was wonderful. Great personality and very friendly. Roberto (Wrangler) came with us, and he was great as well. Our trip to Tampotapa was wonderful as well. Our guide at Tampotapa , Catarina was amazing. She was an excellent guide. The trips were very well organized. I would certainly book with Manu Expeditions again.

Just a quick note to say how much we enjoyed our Manu trip, and to thank your organisation for making it possible, and arranging for an alternative departure when the light aircraft out of Boca Manu was cancelled. We were impressed by the care and skill of staff attached to our group, from the driver, boat crew and cook to Waldo as guide. We were fortunate to have his undivided attention -- as we understand it courtesy of the Iceland volcano. I ended with a bird list of about 180 – a bit short of my target, but it included most of the key species I hoped for, as well as excellent views of the Harpy Eagle, which was more than hoped for! Waldo and the other guides we encountered were knowledgeable and highly professional – far better than their counterparts I have encountered in Australia.

Many thanks for all your help and for putting together another brilliant trip for the British Horse Society. Juan Carlos was excellent and had an endless supply of energy, along with the rest of his team.

I am writing to thank Juan Carlos for his excellent guiding of our recent British Horse Society Inca Ride. Truly an amazing experience. Carlo's local knowledge, medical knowledge, general good humour and encouragement got us through a challenge which I will never forget. The rest of the team were excellent also, highly organized and very efficient. The meals the cook prepared on his 2 gas rings were simply fantastic. Thank you all very much.

Just like to thank all the staff at Manu Expeditions for making our trip so memorable. A special "thank you" should go to Klaus, without whom we wouldn't have managed to see so many wonderful birds and mammals. Please give him our thanks and very best wishes for his future with Manu Expeditions. We would happily recommend Manu Expeditions to anyone planning to visit the Manu biosphere and if we have any particularly good photos, amongst the hundreds we have taken, we would be happy to share them with the company.

The Manu Biosphere Reserve Adventure was fantastic. I think we managed to see every animal/bird mentioned and pictured in the description, thanks to our expert and wonderful guide, David. Among other things, he sighted two very camouflaged jaguars - we watched them for almost an hour. David made the trip informative, fascinating and fun. The food was fabulous and the drivers/boatmen were exceedingly skilled, very reassuring. A very memorable trip; thank you all.”

I just wanted to let you all know that I really enjoyed my trip to Manu Wildlife Center. As I think back on the trip I realize now more than when I was there how many monkeys and macaws there are around the MWC, not to mention the Oropendolas. The people running the lodging do a great job. Also, Waldo is very patient with a pretty diverse group as well as very knowledgeable and sharp-eyed. Please say "Hi" and convey my thanks to him.
